Cosmic Charlie’s Electric IPA

Cosmic Charlie is a hoppy beer, and in no understated way. A combination of Pale and Aromatic malts lend a deep golden hue and fruity, slightly sweet malt base, but this beer is all about the goodness of the herb. Five kettle additions of Magnum, Challenger, Cascades, and Centennial are followed by two separate dry-hopping regimens, first with Cascade and Centennial, then with Challenger and Fuggles. Total hop content is over three pounds per barrel. Aged at cellar temperature for ten days before a Furthur two weeks of cold-conditioning, and served naturally carbonated and unfiltered.
